0 Dark Thirty

Departure day from South Padre Island (SPI). The alarm went off at 3:30 AM. It looked and felt, like the middle of the night. My flight to Houston left at 6:45 am, and the rental car was due in at 5:00 am. Poor Maggie’s flight did not leave until 1:30 pm. She said she was able to catch up on her sleep, have a meal, then when she was ready – the flight was postponed an hour. She did make it home safe and sound, but I am sure she has adventures to tell…

Speaking for myself, the last thing you want when you’re on your way home is an unplanned adventure. I am tired from adventuring and I want to be home. I must be on Scotty’s bad side because he never beams me up. Such is life.

Back home, a new year, too many commitments, projects to do, and of course, the usual aggravations. Like dentists, surgeons, appointments, meds. I could go on, but I don’t have the time.

No matter what happens, when Thor winks at me, I’m better!
