Things People with Multiple Personalities Shouldn’t Do

Deja Vu: Original post February 2011

Jodi (et,al.)
All of these persona’s blog here. If you have followed along for a while, you may have “met” most of them. They ALL have something to say.  I keep a notebook to jot down ideas, research, topics & whatnot,  some of the stuff in there amazes me, obviously written by one of us.

Bad Ideas if you have more than one personality:

Get a Tattoo.

Who would get to make that decision? No one wants to wake up and find someone elses tattoo on their body, so we are not going there.

Go to Las Vegas.

Not to mention any names, but one of us is a bit sleazy, one of us is a compulsive gambler, and who knows what kind of trouble the hard-ass would cause.

Get Married.

My poor husband. Every evening when he leaves work, he has no clue who he is coming home to. Sometimes he enjoys the variety, but mostly he is exhausted.

Work with Alzheimer’s patients.

Those poor souls have enough confusion in their lives. They certainly don’t need us.

Go anywhere without a GPS:

Not a single one of us has any sense of direction.  I mean none… whatsoever

Have the combination to the gun safe:

The Government could learn from hubby and his boys about keeping top-secret information from getting into the wrong hands.

This Day In History

November 26th, 2011 – NASA Launched the Mars Rover “Curiosity” into space.

Why is this important? Well, my job has been centered around preparing and rehearsing  for this mission. This will most likely be the last launch I will have a small part in. It surprised me how emotional I felt after it was over. It could have been because I had to report to work at 3:00am

As exciting as it is to be involved with a launch, I’m grateful that Curiosity is on its 8-month journey to Mars. Now maybe my co-workers and I can get on with our lives. I’m really tired of  Mars.

What happens in space, and when the rover lands on Mars is really awesome, so go to the NASA website and watch the “Mars Rover Trailer”

Your history lesson is over, so now I’m going to bed and catch up on my sleep.

What The 49ers Should Be Thankful For

Because today is Thanksgiving, I planned to write about gratitude and thankfulness. I have so many things – some big and some small, to be grateful for.

But enough about me.

I could not help my beloved 49ers because the Force was NOT with me tonight. Even though I was wearing my official 49ers 50th Anniversary jersey and gave myself a mother of a headache.  Maybe because Baltimore is across the country. Maybe the Dark Side is stronger there.

In an effort to ease their our pain, let’s focus on what we should be thankful for this (football) season:

Alex Smith is alive to quarterback another game. Despite being sacked 11 times, grounded 8, and generally foiled at every turn.

Not one 49er got put on the injured list.  A miracle considering the brutal intensity out there.

Our coach is better looking. And taller.

We are now 9 – 2. Yes, we should be thankful for that. We wanted to be 10 – 1 after tonight, but get over it.  We are 9  frigging  2, people! Remember last season when we were 0 – 6?  We would have gone over to the Dark Side to be 9 – 2 and you know it…  😉

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
