Being the Sunshine

If you recall my post about what I wanted to accomplish in the year 2020, my theme, if you will, is “Be the Sunshine.”  This is still my focus for this year, but I have been horrible about posting any content and for this, I apologize.

I have several projects I need to finish and I am flustered by them and the other stresses bombarding me. When I am overwhelmed my brain short-circuits and I can’t focus on any of the tasks looming over me.  This means that the more tasks I have, the less I accomplish. 

When my brain is useless – I clean house. I am constantly amazed how ‘treasures’ I forgot I had will turn up out of nowhere. Today’s treasure is a photo that came from a card someone sent me long ago. I have had it for years, yet every time I see it I smile and feel happy.

The 2020 List

I made New Year Resolutions when I was a kid, and I was horrible at keeping them.  After stopping the tradition I began feeling empty and lost in January.  So . . .

This year I’m putting together a list of things to work on to improve my Attitude, Spiritual Growth, and Health, (both physical and mental).  This will be one doozy of a list, so I will be writing it for the rest of the year.  I will publish the list on Dec. 31st.

I think it would be really cool if y’all could help me out by submitting suggestions or ideas that helped you to make changes in your personality.

Apologies into Thank You’s

When I saw this on FB it really got my attention.

I apologize A LOT.  So, I’m challenging myself to convert ‘I’m Sorry’ to ‘Thank You.’  I want to make the effort for an entire week.  Who knows?  It could become a habit.

It would be even more fun if some of my awesome readers (that is YOU GUYS) would try along with me!  Imagine the strange looks we’ll be getting…
